Online Car Loans

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=D._David_Dugan]D. David Dugan We all love the Internet. We love the convenience of online shopping because its fast and easy to buy anything, including large purchases like automobiles. Just going to Ebay Automotive will give you thousands of choices to bid on when buying a car. There are many other websites that will also sell you a car. Every auto dealership in the world seems to have their own website, and then there are the generic sites like cars.com, usedcars.com, and newcars.com. So its easy to buy a car on the web, what about my auto insurance? That you will find just as easy, if not easier than finding a place to buy a car on the web. Every car insurance company has their own website and then again, there are a lot of generic auto loan brokers with websites as well. Many will claim to guarantee you the lowest interest rate anywhere and will tell you how easy it is to buy insurance through them. But, something a lot of people do not know is that interest rates for online loans tend to have higher interest rates than loans you get in person. Thats right. Online car loans will cost you more than you might get from someone you can contact by telephone or by visiting their local office. Why would online auto loans be more expensive? Im glad you asked. The people that apply for loans online are more likely to have bad credit according to most studies done by the auto insurance industry. For that reason, online auto loans have a higher interest rate to offset the risk taken by the insurance company. That is not to say that you cannot possibly find a good rate for your auto loan online, but you are more likely to get a better rate from a local broker. Your local Credit Union, Bank, or even the auto dealers preferred loan company are all likely to give you a better rate on your auto loan. Shopping around on the web, then going to your local options to compare financing options is always advised. Remember that buying a car is one of the major purchases you make. The loan you get for your car is one you will be stuck with for at least a couple of years, so shop for the best deal before committing to anyone. You will find such a wide variety of options it will amaze you. One lender may be offering interest rates that are around 7.5% while others are offering 2% or even 0% auto loan financing. Why are different lenders offering such different terms for auto loans? Again, Im glad you asked. Competition is just one of the factors involved in what a company offers you for your car loan. One of the other factors are studies made by each individual company as to what is a high risk or low risk loan. For example: If you purchase a red car in Pennsylvania, you will pay more for your auto insurance than you would if you had bought a white or blue car. They have done studies there that say they pay out more claims to people who own red cars than they do to people who own cars of other colors. Maybe they get more tickets, one agent I spoke with suggested. The police notice the red cars more. Whatever the reason, it goes to show that there are many factors that determine what you will pay for your auto loan. The fact that a higher percentage of people who apply for online auto loans have bad credit than those who apply for their loan offline influences the rates you will pay for an online loan. I hope this article has been helpful to you and will encourage you to shop before you buy when it comes time to get your auto insurance. Make sure you are getting the best deal possible. Also, ask the insurance broker what factors are influencing the rate of your loan. It may make you change your mind about the type or color of car you are buying. D. Pennsylvania Law

By Alison Cole There are different kinds of laws, like administrative law, civil law, common law, applicable law, etc. Administrative law, or law that is used to govern people, is defined as a set of rules or norms of conduct which forbid authorization or permit specified relationships among people and organizations, provide methods for ensuring the impartial treatment of such people, and provide punishments for those who do not follow the established rules of conduct. The law in Pennsylvania is typically administered through a system of courts where the judges hear disputes of both parties. In order to provide a judgment that is just and fair they apply a set of rules. The manner of administering law is called the legal system, which has developed through tradition in each country. The legal system or the administrative law differs in each country. Like all American states, Pennsylvania has a government ruled under law. This government is separated into executive, legislative and judiciary branches. The legislature is an officially elected body of people with the responsibility to make laws for a political unit such as a state or nation. The executive branch gets more access than the private parties to closed-door legislative negotiations. Without the fear of public scrutiny, administration officials can wield the threat of a presidential veto. Since 1790, Pennsylvania has had a two-chambered legislature, with a General Assembly that consists of a Senate with 50 members and a House of Representatives with 203 members. Pennsylvania’s entire judicial system is under the supervision of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, which is also the final appellate court for both the Superior Court and the Commonwealth Court. It also hears appeals directly from the Courts of Common Pleas in certain cases, including murder convictions in which the death penalty applies. These bodies help the Pennsylvanian government to carry on their duties based on the laws and statutes. Pennsylvania Law provides detailed information on Pennsylvania Law, Pennsylvania State Law, Pennsylvania DUI Law, Pennsylvania Lemon Law and more. Pennsylvania Law is affiliated with Ohio Real Estate Lawyers. Enjoy the Snow

By J Gardener Remember how your parents always seemed old to you, even before they reached middle age? They could never relate to you, they could never remember what it was like to be a kid. Now, you’re an adult with children, but you’ve made a pact with yourself-no matter how old you get, you’re always going to think “young”. You’ll always be able to relate to your kids. Right? Here’s a quick test of your resolve: The weatherman just predicted freezing temperatures and heavy snow-what’s your reaction? You groaned, didn’t you? Your first thoughts were about hazardous driving conditions, shoveling snow, high heating bills, and whether or not you remembered to insulate your water pipes. Yup. You’re officially a grown-up. Now, look at your kids’ reactions. Sheer joy, at the possibility of a snow day, filled with sledding, snowmen, and snowball fights. You remember what that was like, but you can’t really relate, any more, can you? You’re thinking about the potential hazards they face-frostbite, injuries, and pneumonia. You groan, again-it’s gonna be a long week. Look, you can’t change the direction of that storm front. You’re going to be socked in. You might as well accept it and make the most of it-and remember that big snow is big fun for kids. If you’re really going to think “young”, now’s the real test. There are definite and real hazards to very cold weather, and to spending too much time in the snow. But you can prepare yourself and your kids for the outside conditions, by following a few simple guidelines. First of all, before venturing out, feed your kids a meal or a snack. The extra calories will generate extra body heat. Dress everyone in several layers of clothing, starting with long underwear, adding turtlenecks and sweaters, then coats. Avoid cotton clothing-it doesn’t warm well and it absorbs moisture. Synthetics such as Gore-Tex can actually whisk moisture away from skin. Everyone should wear mittens-they keep hands warmer than gloves-and take an extra pair, in case snow works in, underneath, freezing small hands. Of course, warm socks, boots, and hats are essential in the snow. And something many people forget-if the sun is out, wear sunscreen. Snow can reflect 85% of the sun’s UV rays, causing quick sunburns. If the snow is wet, a final, waterproof layer of clothes, even rain-gear, is recommended. If sledding is on the agenda (and if there’s a hill in sight, it definitely is), make sure that it’s done on a slope with no hazards. One slip of the rudder can send a sled into a tree. Have your kids wear their bicycle helmets while sledding-head injuries are the most common result of sledding accidents. But you can have lots of fun with your kids in the snow. It really is fun to build and clothe a snowman, and a snowball fight (play clean-no rocks), is great exercise, especially for you. As long as your kids are dressed properly, there’s no set time-limit for being out. When you get cold, it’s time to come in. If you top the day off with some hot chocolate, you might even remember what it was like to be a kid. You might even really feel young, again. The Peace that Keeps

By Mark E. Baker Philippians 4:6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Have you ever stopped to consider that God’s peace keeps us? The word that we just read said it does. It keeps our hearts or spirits, and it also keeps our mind or soul. In todays world you see all kinds of self help programs designed to help people deal with everyday life situations. Hundreds of millions of dollars are spent on therapy and anxiety disorder programs that are designed to help people cope with every day stresses. I am not discouraging these things or saying they are wrong in and of them selves but I am saying God’s Word is showing us a better way. I realize in our extremely busy paced lives, it is sometimes easy to forget the reason for our very existence. We are here to serve God. God our Father wants us to be happy and blessed, not stressed and vexed, yet that is the way most people are. That is because they dont know the One who gives life and peace. Jesus said this very thing. John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Jesus talking to His disciples is saying He has given us His peace. This is not the kind of peace that comes from having lack of pressure; it is the peace that comes regardless of what life throws your way. We dont live in a vacuum, just the opposite, we live in the most stressed out time in history. We know that life can throw a lot of things at us, and many times we feel like, why is this happening to me! I know this; regardless of what the world throws at us; God’s peace will keep us! We have a job and a responsibility to receive what Jesus has given to us. Even though He has given it to us, we have to learn to receive it and walk in it. Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. There is a set of instructions to follow that tells us how to let God’s peace rule us. This is not automatic; we must obey God’s Word in order to receive this blessing of peace. Even though Jesus has already told us He has left us His peace, that does not mean that we are automatically walking in it. If that were so, there would not be any stressed out Christians. I believe if we all followed His precepts and walked according to His word, there would be no stressed out Christians. We know that is not the case, so what do we as believers need to do to become partakers of this awesome promise. Lets look at what we just read. First of all the Word is telling us we must let the peace of God rule in our hearts. We have to let it. Have you ever considered this? We have to give God permission to let His peace rule us. If we wont let it, it wont rule us. That may sound hard but it is the way it is. God is a gentleman and He wont come in uninvited or where He is not welcome. It may not be your intention to be unwelcoming towards Him but when you hold on to anxiety and care, that is exactly what you are doing. You may say well you just dont know what I am going through. That may be true but God does and He is the One that matters. He wants to take that burden from you and give you his peace. You have to let it go. — Simple English 1 Peter 5:7 Throw all your worries onto God, because He cares for you. To throw means to use force to expel something away from you. This is not always easy but is something we can do with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. You have to throw the burden onto God and then receive His peace in place of that burden. You have to cast or throw your cares and worries onto God. He truly loves you and wants you to be anxiety free. This is not denial of reality; this is walking hand in hand with the one who sustains you. See the difference? The next thing Paul said to the Colossians was to be thankful. Be thankful for what? Be thankful you are alive unto God and not dead in your trespasses and sins. Be thankful for God’s provision and blessing. That is just a start. Have you ever considered that it is hard for God to be gracious to his children when they are not grateful for what they have? Start praising Him for what you have got. Give Him something to work with. Have a grateful heart! And finally Paul said to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Let God’s Word dwell in you! Let God’s Word dwell in you richly. Meaning, put God’s Word first place in your life. Keep it before your eyes. Dwell on the problem solver not the problem. It is impossible to do both at the same time. You must choose one or the other. It is up to you which one it is going to be. Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; God is even telling us which one to choose. He wants us to succeed. This is His desire for us His children. It is truly hard to have an anxious heart when you have cast your burden onto Him and are praising Him and giving Him thanks. A thankful heart is a heart that receives more of God’s blessings, I am convinced of it. I would like to go back and look at our opening Scripture in the Revised Standard Version. It goes hand in hand with what the A,postle Paul was saying to the Colossians. Phil:4: 6-8. Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Gods Word is telling us to take some steps in order for us to get His peace. We too often want to have instant success, it just doesnt work that way, we have to follow Gods instruction book. His instruction book, the Word of God, or the Bible, gives us specific instructions. When we follow His precepts, we get His results. When we dont follow His precepts, we dont get His results. Its that simple. Lets look at what Paul said to the Philippians and see exactly what he said to do. 1.) have no anxiety about anything, That means not to worry. If your faith is in God and His Word then you will not be worrying. You can not walk in worry and faith at the same time. They do not co-exist. 2.) but in everything by prayer, and supplication That is going to the Father in Jesus name and making your request made known to Him. This is just another way of saying to petition God with your needs. He already knows your needs but He has told us to ask Him. James said Yet you do not have because you do not ask. (James 4:2) We must ask. 3.) with thanksgiving, Thanking Him that He hears your prayers, thanking Him for the answer. A faith filled prayer prays according to God’s Word and believes that the prayer has been heard. We can have confidence that our prayer has been heard when we pray this way. The apostle John said this very thing. 1 John 5:14. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 4.) let your request be made known to God. His Word even tells us what to pray, we are to pray according to His will, or His Word as we just read in 1Jn. 5.) vs.8. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Do these things and God’s peace will rule your hearts and minds. I know this is true. Amen Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you want to be a joint heir with Christ? If so, I urge you to earnestly pray the following prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. (Jn.6:37), So I know You wont cast me out, but You take me in, And I thank you for it. You said in your Word, “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Ro. 10:13). I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now, You also said, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. (Ro.10:9,10). I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because Your Word says, with the heart one believes to righteousness and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21), And I am saved! Thank You, Lord! I can now truthfully say, I see myself as a born again child of God! Glory to God!!!! Amen. I was raised Catholic, and was born again at the age of 17. I received God’s call into ministry at the age of 19 and began to prepare for ministry. I graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1979. The Lord has called me to teach. My desire is to help all that are seeking to come into a deeper understanding of what God has done for us through Christ Jesus and I have started a web site for this purpose called The Olive Branch; Please visit us for more free studies and resources to help you on your journey. Knowing Your Hairs Ph Balance Level Makes All the Difference

By Janice Johnson During the changing seasons our hair can sometimes take a while to adjust to the change in temperatures, but it can also take some time to adjust to the new products we are using on our hair. Sometimes the products we have been using on our hair for months no longer work and our hair either becomes too dry or too oily. It can sometimes be very difficult to find the right balance. But if you want to learn how to restore your hairs natural ph level, its really quite a simple process once you understand your hair. The natural oil that our hair secretes is a natural oil called sebum. Sebum maintains the moisture and balance in our hair. The hairs natural pH balance is between 4.5 and 5.5 scale. But what is most important is that we understand how to measure our hairs level of Alkaline or Acid. The scale is from 0 (strongly Acidic) to 14 (Strongly Alkaline). Having a level of 7 represents neutrality. But in order to understand what products you should be purchasing, you need to understand what the right level is for you and your particular hair type. If you are using products that have a high pH level, than you are stripping your hair of its natural essential oil. In this case our hair becomes much too dry, making it prone to breakage and further damage. What The Heck Is A Prenuptial Agreement?

By Jeffrey Broobin If the marriage fails it explains how the assets will be split up. If support will be paid to one or both parties and who will be responsible for paying the lawyer. Almost half the states have adopted the Uniform Premarital Agreement Act. For the states that havent you should look into the law of the state, to see whether or not a contract can be entered into between the partners. Both parties must both be a financial position to enter into a contract and of an age that is acceptable in the state they live. Both partners must also with total honesty reveal their assets and so later if things dont work out, the other party can not claim fraud which would make the contract invalid. If someone lies and it is proven the facts entered are not accurate or the extent of his or her property is not accurate the contract will be ruled void. There can be no pressure or duress in an attempt to get the upper hand. Both parties must have an opportunity to review the contract and decide if the contract is fair and to enter into the contract of their own free will. Sometimes, prenuptial agreements are ruled void because the prenuptial agreement appeared right before the wedding and putting the person in a stressful position which is in violation of the law. Both parties must be sign the prenuptial agreement, and they must each have their own Attorney. Besides protecting the assets of each party, there is also the concern of protecting children from a prior marriage. You want to be certain that assets that existed prior to the marriage remain separate so as not to create a dispute over inheritance between between children from the other partner. You must be sure to protect yourself and your children, and above all take your time as haste makes waste. Is it Possible for a Prenuptial Agreement to be challenged? Anything can be challenged, but if you cross your Ts and dot you Is, it is less likely that the challenge will be successful. The contract can be attacked if the law has not been followed of one or both of the parties were dishonest concerning financial or personal information, or they did not reveal everything required. Sometimes it is very hard to prove the true assets as people in a strong financial position as they can create corporation where their name is not listed. You have to leave this up to your lawyer and if the relationship ends it will call for a more detailed search. The burden rests with the party seeking to establish that the agreement is unenforceable. Dates Are Critical To Your Family Tree

By Richard Kearns Dates are a critical part of family tree research. Making sure that we understand and verify the dates that we are recording is an important part of the historian’s duties. To understand the formats that dates have taken over the centuries, we need to look at two basic problems. The first problem related to the first day of the new year. Early calendars were based on the Feast of the Annunciation, the 25th of March, representing the first day of the new year. In the 1522, Venice introduced January 1st as the first day of the new year. Other countries in Europe, made this change over the next 200 years. The dates that other countries converted are as follows: 1544 Germany 1556 Spain, Portugal, Roman Catholic Netherlands 1559 Prussia Denmark, Sweden 1564 France 1579 Lorraine 1583 Protestant Netherlands 1600 Scotland 1725 Russia 1721 Tuscany 1752 England and colonies The second problem was created when the Julian calendar was introduced in 46 BC. The Julian calendar was based on 365 days for 3 years and the fourth year was 366 days. By the late 16th-century the calendar was out of step with the seasons by about 10 days. In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII replaced the Julian calendar with the Gregorian calendar. This calendar dropped 10 days from the month of October, for the first year only, to bring this calendar in line with the seasons. In addition to retaining every fourth year as a leap year, the new calendar dropped the leap year for every century year that was not divisible by 400. This change helped keep the accumulation problem from reoccurring. The Gregorian calendar also showed January 1st as the first day of the new year. The changes that we have talked about created a wide variety of problems for amateur and professional genealogists alike. Because countries adopted these changes over several centuries, dates have been misinterpreted routinely. During your research you may find that many dates appear to have two years. This is not because the writer was unsure of the date but in fact, because both the Julian and Gregorian calendars were being used simultaneously. You may have noticed that a certain date in an English document was recorded as January 15, 1754/5. This is an example of the “double dating” technique, where the Julian calendar was 1754 and the Gregorian calendar was 1755. In Germany, this problem would have existed as early as 1544. Needless to say, this conversion from the “old style” to the “new style” and the double dating technique that resulted from it, must be carefully considered by the historian and recorded exactly as they are found to preserve the integrity of the record. Another problem that we experience when recording dates is in the format that is used. In Europe, dates are typically recorded dd-mm-yyyy. You may also find that they are recorded as dd.mm.yy. In the United States, dates are recorded as mm-dd-yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy. I am confident that you have seen dates like 08/03/1995 where you are unsure if it refers to August 3 or March 8. Recently, the International Standards Organization introduced the ISO date standard of yyyy-mm-dd. Using this notation will ensure that everyone knows 1995/08/03 is August the third. There are a number all the advantages to using this notation. A few are as follows: easily readable, writeable, comparable and sortable by software language independent can not be confused with other popular date notations consistency with the common 24h time notation system, where the larger units (hours) are also written in front of the smaller ones (minutes and seconds) strings containing a date followed by a time are also easily comparable and sortable (e.g. write “1995-02-04 22:45:00″) the notation is short and has constant length, making data entry and table layout easier date notations with the order “year, month, day” are already used widely throughout Japan, Korea, Sweden, Finland, Denmark a 4-digit year representation avoids overflow problems after 2099-12-31 Whether you have been working on your family tree for decades or just this week it is important to standardize the date format that you use. I recommend the International Standard (sometimes known as the ISO 8601) method of recording dates for all your documentation. Taking the time to study the country and era that your ancestor lived in will help you capture important facts and correct dates for each of them. Knowing a little history and being careful to record the facts exactly as you find them will ensure that your family heritage will be accurately preserved for future generations. Richard Kearns publishes an informative, easy to use website that helps people discover their family heritage and shows them how to document their family tree for future generations. Progesterone: The Rodney Dangerfield of Hormones

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Michael_Platt] Michael Platt Hormones control every system of the body. Knowledge of how hormones interact gives practitioners an important tool towards achieving wellness in their patients. Those people involved with bio-identical hormones, namely, compound pharmacists, physicians, and nurse practitioners, are already much aware of the importance of progesterone with regards to a womans gynecological well-being. However, there seems to be a lack of appreciation for the role progesterone plays in the area of mens health, as well as how progesterone can be utilized to benefit weight control in men, women and children. Please be aware that there are over 300 receptor sites throughout the body for progesterone. It is beyond the scope of this article to delineate all the potential benefits and actions of this hormone. Consider what I discuss here an introduction to the clinical benefits of this hormone. Let me begin by stating a known fact men and women have identical hormones. Although this fact seems obvious, it is commonly not appreciated. Progesterone is usually considered a womans hormone, perhaps related to the fact that its role in the male body is never mentioned. Interestingly, I consider it the second most important hormone in men after testosterone. One of the main roles progesterone plays in males, as well as females, is to control insulin production. Insulin is obviously an important hormone, but excess quantities can be very detrimental. It is the number one cause of obesity in this country, it is perhaps the number one cause of essential hypertension, it is the number one cause of type II diabetes and it is probably responsible for most of the complications of diabetes with regard to nerve and blood vessel damage, it raises cholesterol levels and is the number one hormone that speeds up the aging process. If you consider that progesterone is the number one hormone that helps keep insulin levels down you can immediately appreciate the tremendous therapeutic effect this hormone has with regard to treating weight problems, blood pressure problems, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, etc. I do not consider progesterone alone to be the panacea for all these problems. But used in conjunction with other therapeutic approaches it provides the ability to enhance whatever approach is being utilized. For example, progesterone by itself is very effective for preventing an over-production of insulin. People who start on progesterone cream are very quick to note that they no longer get sleepy in the afternoon between 3PM and 4PM, and they dont get sleepy while driving or after eating. These are the classic times that insulin levels peak. However, progesterone cannot compete with a diet that is high in carbohydrate content this situation produces an amount of insulin that overwhelms the ability of progesterone to control it. Utilizing certain bio-identical hormones can actually be considered the next step beyond Atkins to maintain weight control. As men approach the age of 50, hormonal changes start becoming more evident. This is about the time that men stop producing progesterone; accordingly, they start developing weight around the midriff because their insulin levels are now higher. In concert with this drop in progesterone, their testosterone levels continue to drop and their estradiol levels start to rise. After the menopause, whether surgical or natural, women continue to make estradiol. However, mens level of estradiol is commonly higher than womens after the age of 50. When looking at estradiol, keep in mind that it is a hormone that contributes to six different cancers in women breast, cervical, vaginal, ovarian, uterine, and colon. It is the only known cause for cancer of the uterus (except for Tamoxifen). The prostate and the uterus embryologically are derived from the same tissue. Therefore, logically it would appear that estradiol is the probable cause of prostate cancer. Progesterone very likely prevents every known cancer cause by estradiol. Since prostatic cancer mainly occurs in men at a time that their progesterone levels are low or non-existant and that their estradiol levels are high would it not seem logical that giving men natural, bio-identical progesterone cream might prevent prostate cancer? A classic example of the importance of progesterone in men may be best exemplified by one of my patients who presented himself to me by saying, Doc, if you dont help me, Im going to commit suicide. He was 57 years old, obviously depressed, and also complained of severe hypoglycemia, asthma, and he had osteoporosis. At the time of his visit he was taking a combination of liothyronine (Cytomel) 25mcg, Armour thyroid and Actonel. Review of previous records indicated that he had been on a variety of regimens for depression and asthma including Paxil, Serzone, Effexar, Singular, and Flonase. He had been on a constantly changing thyroid regimen for over 20 years. Prior lab studies showed a persistently low T4 and usually elevated T3 levels. TSH levels were always around the 0.01 range. This latter fact exemplifies a classic error done by most doctors who evaluate thyroid studies. They consider a low TSH as an indication of too much thyroid being given. They are perhaps unaware that there are several different types of hypothyroidism. The most common is primary hypothyroidism where the thyroid itself is unable to produce enough thyroid. The most common cause of this is a result of Hashimotos thyroiditis. However, there is also an entity called secondary hypothyroidism. This occurs when the pituitary fails to produce enough thyroid stimulating hormone and results in a hypofunctioning thyroid that is frequently misinterpreted as being hyperfunctioning. In any event, the reams of old records he brought with him were virtually worthless. He told me that he had spent over $200,000 in the two years prior to his seeing me; he had been all over the country consulting with the top doctors in the most prestigious medical centers. In addition to their failing to figure out what was wrong with him, they neglected to realize he had adult ADHD, fibromyalgia, and restless leg syndrome. Store Your Pool Toys and Help Increase Swimming Pool Safety

By Gregory Fort Excessive toy clutter upon a swimming pool deck or the areas around a built-in pool can lead to falls and serious injuries. Keeping the swimming deck areas clear will help reduce the risk of unnecessary falls. Children tend to pull out all of the pool toys then swap their preferences all day long. Moms and dads, doubling as life guards, have the constant job of tidying up while the kids play. Wooden decks adjacent swimming pools are notorious for being slippery. With children getting in and out constantly, the pool deck can quickly become an ice skating rink. If the deck is also cluttered with multiple rafts, noodles, beach balls, ducks and float rings, the chance of slipping on the deck increases. Many people choose to throw their toys over the side of the pool into the yard. The toys may be out of the way, but when the kids use them again, they bring grass and dirt back into the pool. An alternative to throwing the toys overboard is to somehow neatly store them near the swimming area. If your deck is large, and you dont mind giving up deck space, products are available both locally and online. A bench seat with storage underneath or a container product, similar to a cooler, both allow for storage of smaller toys and accessories. Larger toys such as rafts and plastic boats require a different storage solution. Decorative netting is now being utilized to hold pool toys of all sizes. The advantages of using a net are many. They save precious deck space. They are attractive and convenient. They are available in many sizes to accommodate large and small families. Whichever pool toy storage solution you prefer, remember to teach your children to help keep the deck areas clear. This will help take some of the work off your shoulders and teach them valuable pool safety lessons. Gregory Fort and his wife Kathleen are the owners of Pool-Pockets, Your Pool Toy Storage Solution.
